Get up to £1,000 to give your research project an early boost
The Learned Society of Wales’ successful Research Workshop Grant Scheme is back as we continue to show our commitment to Wales’ researchers.
Fifteen grants of up to £1,000 are available to support the running of a workshop that will bring together researchers at the early stage of planning and developing a collaborative research project.
“The aim of the grants is to create partnership between researchers from different disciplines and from a range of institutions,” said Cathy Stroemer, the Society’s Programme Manager for Researcher Development. “They can come within academia or the public, private and third sectors.”
Collaborative and interdisciplinary work is at the heart of the scheme. Applications must also fall under one of the following three criteria:
- Wales Studies
- Early Career Researchers
- Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences
