Guidance
The guidance is updated every year. It is therefore essential that the proposer (Fellow) and the nominee read it before applying as well as throughout the process of completing the forms.
There are currently two different sets of nomination guidance for the following routes:
- Industry, Commerce, the Arts and Professions (ICAP)
- Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences (HASS) and Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM) Fellowship Nominations
A Fellow may act as a ‘Proposer’ for up to three nominees. In addition, we place no limit on the number of women and people from ethnic minority backgrounds that a Fellow may nominate in order to support our aim for a more diverse Fellowship.
The Society supports Fellows (proposers) and nominees to complete the correct Nomination forms in the following ways:
- Our Guidance is always up to date and is continually reviewed to ensure it is accessible and useful. It is essential to refer to the guidance throughout the process to ensure you are responding to the most up-to-date information.
- We hold a number of on-line Question & Answer sessions for nominees and proposers as the cycle opens – you can join the mailing list to hear about these here.
- If you have any further questions about the process, please contact our Fellowship Officer, Stanislava Sofrenić.
