ECR Colloquium – A Connected Wales: call for proposals

Our ECR Network Colloquium takes place in Bangor on 18th June. Its theme is ‘A Connected Wales: Developing your Career as Researcher in Wales and Beyond’. We’re now inviting ideas from researchers for flash talks and posters that examine how their research impacts the Welsh policy landscape in line with the seven core principles of the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.

This theme has been chosen to reflect our ambition to develop a cohesive and interdisciplinary research network in Wales and to connect Welsh research with policy and practice. Demonstrating how research impacts the wider world is essential for developing successful funding applications and for progressing research careers.

We are inviting proposals for Flash-Talks and research posters. Researchers working within and outside of academia are encouraged to apply.

The colloquium is designed to support researchers in developing their careers. In addition to the flash-talks, there will be opportunities for attendees to expand their research networks, meet the Society Fellows, and attend sessions on developing successful funding applications run by senior-level academics and funding bodies.
