In 1938, the new building in Cathays Park was very deliberately named ‘The Temple of Peace and Health’. As we face today’s challenges, this conference will re-examine the connections between a Healthy World and a Peaceful World.

The plenary speaker is Dr Rowan Williams, Chair Academi Heddwch Cymru.

Proposals are invited for 25-minute papers, in either Welsh or English, on diverse and wide-ranging aspects of the theme. Papers by established scholars, practitioners and research students alike will be welcome.

This conference will be held jointly by Academi Heddwch Cymru and the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, with support from the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol.
