Creating Wellbeing: Research and Practice – ECR Webinar

The study of well-being, what it is, how it is measured, how we can create and maintain it, has seen a growth in academic study into the field.

Our latest Early Career Researchers Network event, Creating Well-being: Research and Practice¸ will present some of the latest research emerging from Wales’ universities.

The session will cover the use of trauma-informed approaches within the youth justice system, wellbeing for sexual minority adolescents and the use of body-based and mindfulness strategies for creating wellbeing and managing mental health.

There will also be a chance to share with other attendees personal strategies for maintaining wellbeing. The session will be of special interest to ECRs wanting to learn about resources that can help manage stress and anxiety.  The webinar will be chaired by Ann John FLSW, Professor of Public Health and Psychiatry at Swansea University.
