The Society has recently published two comment pieces on Brexit in the Western Mail.

Sir Emyr Jones Parry, President of the Society outlined the wider challenges that Wales faces, and that much work is needed to identify precisely the full impact in Wales of withdrawal from the EU, the interests that need to be protected, and Welsh objectives for the forthcoming negotiations.

In the second article, Professor Peter Halligan, our Chief Executive, considered the challenges facing universities in Wales and the UK, in terms of funding, collaboration, and researcher and student mobility.
