Opportunity to join our FLSW Event Support Review Panel 

We are seeking expressions of interest from Fellows who would be interested in sitting on a new Review Panel. 

The Learned Society of Wales offers Fellows the opportunity to apply for FLSW Event Support to fund, promote or support events that they are involved in organising.   

We are seeking expressions of interest from Fellows who would be interested in sitting on this review panel.   

• The panel will consist of 6 Fellows– with 3 Fellows being chosen to take part in each round. 

• There are 3 deadlines for submissions each year.   

• Received applications are reviewed and ranked by staff against LSW strategic priorities.  The selected members of the Review Panel in each round will assess the applications with the proposed ranking, and make a final decision on the allocation of funding.  

• Discussions between Review Panel members take place via email and are led by one member of General Purposes Committee (GPC) as Chair 

• Selected Review Panel members are required to read all applications received in that round as well as the staff assessment and then discuss via email with the rest of the Review Panel to agree their final recommendations. 

• Applications from Fellows based outside of Wales are welcomed. 

GPC will consider all expressions of interest by 5 June and we will inform you of their decision via email.
