Have you ever considered becoming a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales?
We are inviting insight and feedback from anyone who has thought about Fellowship of the LSW. We want to improve our understanding of what works and what can be improved as we begin a review of our Fellowship nomination and election process.
Whether you’ve simply wondered what a Fellow is, thought about being nominated, looked at our website, joined one of our information sessions or even started working with someone to be nominated – we would really appreciate your insight into how this worked for you.
We are running an anonymous short survey (open until Monday 19th January 2026) that will help shape a review of the entire process that will be taking place over the next few years.
Insight such as this will be crucial to help us understand where our current support, guidance and process help, and where we may have unintended barriers to joining the Fellowship that we can address to improve the process going forward.
If you would prefer to speak to a member of staff or would like to ask any questions, please contact us on: lsw@wales.ac.uk
Our current guidance and explanation of the process can all be found on our website here.
