Maud Ellmann is Distinguished Research Professor in the Department of English at Swansea University, and Randy L. and Melvin R. Berlin Professor of the Development of the Novel in English, at the University of Chicago.

Her research interests focus on British and European modernism and critical theory, particularly psychoanalysis and feminism. She is the author of many books and articles, including The Nets of Modernism (2010), The Hunger Artists: Starving, Writing, and Imprisonment (1993) and The Poetics of Impersonality: T.S. Eliot and Ezra Pound (1987).

 

Mae Maud Ellmann yn Athro Ymchwil Nodedig yn yr Adran Saesneg ym Mhrifysgol Abertawe,  a hi yw  Athro Randy L. a Melvin R. Berlin yn Natblygiad y Nofel yn Saesneg Prifysgol Chicago.

Mae ei diddordebau ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar foderniaeth a damcaniaeth feirniadol Prydain ac Ewrop, yn arbennig seicdreiddio a ffeminyddiaeth. Mae’n awdur nifer o lyfrau ac erthyglau gan gynnwys The Nets of Modernism (2010), The Hunger Artists: Starving, Writing, and Imprisonment (1993) a The Poetics of Impersonality: T.S.
