We’re making some changes…

This is usually the time of the year when we begin the search for the recipients of our annual medals.

2025 is going to be different…

For the first time in a while, we’re planning to introduce some new medals to our roster. The thinking on this has been led by the LSW Fellows on our medals working group. They have carried out a thorough investigation of the medals we currently award and made recommendations about the disciplines that deserve recognition with a medal of their own.

That work is ongoing, so we’ve decided to hold off on this year’s medals, launching them on 1 March 2026.
