Dr Sarah Morse, Knowledge Exchange Manager, Senedd Research Service will be delivering a webinar on ‘Giving your research a voice in the Senedd’ on 29 January (10am-12pm).
The Senedd (Welsh Parliament), and its members, are looking for research evidence to inform law-making processes and scrutiny of Welsh Government. This session will explain how you can engage with the Senedd and its’ members, including:
- Explaining the Welsh policy landscape, and how the different parts work together;
- Showing you why you should be engaging with the Senedd, including successful examples of engagement and its impact;
- Helping you negotiate the two worlds, and understand the opportunities to engage;
- Offering practical tips on how to get your research heard.
Dr Emily Marchant (Swansea University) and Dr Larissa Peixoto Vale Gomes (University of Edinburgh) will also share their experiences of engaging with Senedd as ECRs.
