Dr Zubeyde Bayram-Weston

Senior Lecturer in Anatomy and Physiology, Swansea University

Dr Bayram-Weston is an anatomist and neuroscientist with a specialism in Huntington’s Disease. Her work focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Huntington’s. She has contributed to numerous collaborative projects, developing animal models and conducting behavioural experiments to advance therapeutic strategies. Alongside her research, she is deeply involved in education, and is an AdvanceHE senior fellow. Her research and teaching leadership contributes to the growth and development of students and researchers within Wales, fostering the next generation of talent in neuroscience
