Professor Simon Chandler-Wilde

Professor Chandler-Wilde has broad research interests in mathematics and its applications. His major scientific contributions are to the mathematical analysis and computational treatment of problems of wave scattering and propagation, especially in acoustics, and especially via integral equation methods. He has received the Tyndall Medal and the R W B Stephens Medal from the Institute of Acoustics and the Frank J Rizzo Award of the International Association for Boundary Element Methods.
