Shannu Bhatia is a Clinical Reader and Honorary Consultant in paediatric dentistry at Cardiff University, with a background in medical education and in dentistry. She holds Fellowships with Advance HE, the Academy of Medical Educators, and the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Her main impact is in the clinical dental care of children, dental education, and promotion of wellbeing of professionals and students. As the immediate past President of British Society of Paediatric Dentistry, she advocates for the oral health of children nationally and internationally.
