Professor Ahuja is a consultant orthopaedic spinal surgeon and Honorary Professor at Cardiff University. He has been active in science and clinical research with multiple successful grants and is currently a co-chief investigator for a large multi-centre research trial that has a £2 million award from the National Institute of Healthcare & Research. Professor Ahuja has served as the President of the British Association of Spine Surgeons and is the current UK Spine Society board Chairperson.
