Dr Rhodri Jones

Dr Jones is Head of the Beams Department at CERN and is responsible for the operation of the CERN accelerator complex. He works on the conception and design of future particle physics accelerators, as well as precision measurement and robotics designed for controlling those accelerators. Dr Jones has played multiple roles at CERN. He has managed large infrastructures, researched innovative techniques for particle beam characterization, fostered collaboration in accelerator technology, and trained the next generation of accelerator physicists and engineers.
