Specialist Subject(s): Psychology

Professor of Visual Neuroscience, City University of London

Professor Morgan’s two books Molyneux’s Question and The Space between Our Ears examine the history of ideas relating to the problem of how the brain uses the information from the image in the eye to construct the perception of a three-dimensional world, with ourselves as agents in it. His own experimental work has concentrated on how we reconstruct the position, movement and colour of objects from their images.
