Professor Angela Mihai

Professor of Applied Mathematics, Cardiff University

Professor Mihai’s broad research interests are in applied and computational mathematics at the interface with physical and natural sciences. Her major scientific contributions are in fundamental solid mechanics and the mathematical understanding of soft materials, including biological tissue and soft matter. She is the author of the research monograph Stochastic Elasticity (Springer, 2022).
