Menna Ellis

Menna is the Society’s Events Assistant. She helps organize and facilitate our online and in-person events. Menna works closely with the Head of Equity and Engagement to deliver events for the Fellowship and external audiences, while also supporting our communications work.

Menna completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Reading before earning an MA in Journalism, Media, and Communication from Cardiff University, graduating in 2022.

A fluent Welsh speaker, Menna learned Welsh through her Welsh-medium education and is keen to use the language in her role.

Menna worked for Sky on their ‘Sky Up Academy Studios on Tour’ scheme in Rhondda Cynon Taff and completed an events-based internship at Amgueddfa Cymru’s St Fagans site, before joining us in late 2023.

In her free time, Menna enjoys weekly tap dancing classes and experimenting on her sewing machine (with some minor success).
