We are currently inviting applications for our Research Workshop Grants Scheme. We aim to fund workshops that promote collaboration across different disciplines, institutions and organisations and create new opportunities for future research activities. In this round, we will be able to fund up to 18 projects for institutions in Wales. Projects will need to align with one of the following research themes:

• Wales Studies
• Early Career Researchers
• Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences
• Pathways to Peace (sponsored by Academi Heddwch Cymru)

Up to £1000 is available per project. Workshops under the Pathways to Peace stream, which include an international partner, may apply for up to £2000.

Applications must be submitted via our online form, which can be accessed through the link below. The deadline to submit an application is the 31st October 2025 at 4pm. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
