Supporting the Society:
making a donation to the Appeal Fund
The Society’s short-term aim to have developed itself by the end of 2014/15 as “a sustainable organisation that is fit for purpose and that is acknowledged both as the recognised representative of the world of Welsh learning internationally and as a source of authoritative, scholarly and critical comment and advice to the National Assembly and other bodies on policy issues affecting Wales”.
Financial security and independence are essential if we are to succeed in realising this aim and we need significant additional income to enable the Society to carry out the range of activities necessary for it to flourish. In 2011 the Society therefore launched a fundraising Appeal and we will be most grateful for any support that you are able to provide. Gift Aid
As a registered charity (no. 1141526) the Society is able to take advantage of the Gift Aid provision, which increases the value of donations, bequests and similar gifts by 25 per cent. If you are a UK tax payer and wish to enable the Society to benefit from this provision you can obtain a Gift Aid form here.

Nod strategol tymor byr y Gymdeithas yw, erbyn diwedd 2014/15, datblygu ei hun yn “sefydliad cynaliadwy sy’n addas i’r diben ac a adwaenir fel cynrychiolydd cydnabyddedig dysg Gymreig yn rhyngwladol a hefyd fel ffynhonnell o sylwadau a chyngor awdurdodol, ysgolheigaidd a beirniadol i’r Cynulliad Cenedlaethol a chyrff eraill ar faterion polisi sy’n effeithio ar Gymru”.
