Early Career Research Network – our first free Zoom seminar
‘Impact’ describes the benefits of academic research to wider society.
This first meeting of our Network will enable you to connect with researchers across Wales, and to consider new perspectives on impact in principle and in practice. With Covid-19 having a major impact on universities and the research environment, the meeting will help to develop your thinking on the usefulness and usability of your work.
We will cover:
- The economic, social and cultural benefits of impact
- Co-creating impact with other stakeholders
- An interdisciplinary case study
- Making your case – how to plan for good impact
At the end of the main seminar (15.30-16.15), there will be an opportunity to meet with other researchers and continue the conversation in smaller breakout rooms.
