The British Society for the History of Science (BSHS) Annual Conference.  This will be the first time that the Society have met in Wales since the modern series of annual conferences began in 2003. The Annual Conference attracts upwards of 140 historians of science, technology, and/or medicine, not only from British universities, libraries, and museums, but also from continental Europe and North America. The society has agreed to contribute to the costs of the conference and the plenary lecture by Professor Iwan Rhys Morus, of Aberystwyth University on nineteenth-century Welsh science.
