What is science to Wales, and Wales to science? Our country has a long and rich history of science, but despite the significant contribution that Welsh people have made to our understanding of the world around us, we still tend to think of science a something alien, something that doesn’t really belong to us. We think that science isn’t an important part of our history. To change that, we need to start a new conversation about the history of Welsh science.
This event will be an opportunity to share ideas and visions about how to change the ways we understand our scientific past, and how we can use the history of Welsh science to transform its future.
The Science Seiat is supported by the Learned Society of Wales and MYRDDIN: The Welsh Network for the History and Social Study of Science.
