Unfortunately, the lecture scheduled for 19 March has had to be postponed.
We are currently exploring dates in the autumn.

Professor David Tong from the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, Cambridge University, delivers the ‘David Olive Lecture 2020’.
His lecture is titled, ‘Are we living in the Matrix?‘
Its premise is that no one knows how to simulate the laws of physics on a computer. This obstacle is related to to some of the deepest and most subtle facts about the quantum world.
Professor Tong’s lecture will describe these issues and their implications for the world we live in.
The lecture is free and open to all.
