A two-day professional development and networking event in the unofficial cultural capital of Wales, Aberystwyth, the International Literature Forum will bring together people and organisations working in the field of international writing and translation from across Europe to share ideas, knowledge and best practice.
In order to promote intercultural understanding through literature and translation we need to engage and extend audiences for international writing. This forum will explore approaches to developing live, print and digital audiences for writing in translation, examine and highlight innovative projects and best practices and provide an opportunity to discuss the concept of audience development across different art forms and its application in the field of literature.
The programme will consist of plenaries and parallel workshops, as well as sessions for arts policy and practice researchers and public events.
Registrations will open later in January and places will be limited. If you’d like to stay informed, register your interest by emailing email@example.com.
The Forum is supported by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union, Arts Council Wales and the Welsh Government through the Creative Europe Desk Wales.
