Dr Sarah Morse
Sarah looks after the Society’s activities in policy and public affairs. This includes monitoring the policy arena, working with Fellows to develop policy positions –jobs?and curating the Society’s programme of events. She also leads the Society’s work in Wales Studies, drawing on her own experience as a researcher in Welsh Writing in English.
Sarah completed a PhD on the literature of the Rhondda at Swansea University in 2010, and in 2020 co-edited Fight and Flight: Essays on Ron Berry. She joined the Society in 2011 and has enjoyed supporting its development since those early days.
She is the Chair of the Board of Directors of Seren Books, Wales’ leading independent publisher and is Treasurer of the Association for Welsh Writing in English.
Sarah works full-time for the Society.
